About
Hi! I'm Allen Otterstrom, a Research Professional at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an aspiring economics PhD student. I am most interested in labor, economic history and demography but generally get excited about any economics topic that I encounter.
Much of my own research has focused on magnifying the usefulness of data from the US Census Bureau and I am excited to use those tools in conjunction with others to push forward applied microeconomic topics.
Prior to my current role, I earned a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
