About
Hi! I'm Allen Otterstrom, an incoming Economics PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am most interested in public and labor economics, but in general I get excited about most topics in economics.
Much of my own research has focused on magnifying the usefulness of data from the US Census Bureau and moving forward I anticipate that I will continue to use those tools in conjunction with others to push forward applied microeconomic topics.
Prior to graduate school, I earned a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University and worked as a research professional at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
